Idea Manager support

Idea Manager is Coming Soon. Public access is not available while testing continues.

Updated on 5 October 2026, based on the current source implementation. Deployed account features and recovery configuration still need confirmation.

Capture first, organise later

Enter an idea title and optional detailed thoughts, then choose Save Idea. Reopen an idea to edit it. If organisation tools are enabled, More options exposes their fields.

In Settings, choose projects, tags, statuses, priorities, advanced filters and sorting, sharing or Kanban. Kanban requires statuses. Turning a tool off hides its controls and stops hidden filters affecting the list; existing organisation data is retained. Older accounts can have more tools enabled for compatibility.

Connection and saving

The web app uses an account-backed service to load and save ideas and preferences. A cached shell may open without a connection. Do not assume an offline edit was saved or synchronised.

If a save reports an uncertain outcome, keep the text you entered and follow the app’s retry or refresh message. Check that the idea appears after a confirmed save. Avoid clearing browser data or closing an unsaved form while resolving an error.

Unlock and recovery

Signing in and unlocking encrypted content are separate steps. The current web implementation keeps the unlocked private key in memory; after a process restart, a restored sign-in session can ask for the password again. If unlock fails, check the password and use the offered retry or recovery flow.

A password-reset email alone cannot recover encrypted content. Follow the recovery method shown for your account: an enrolled recovery code, or a legacy security answer where still supported. Keep the recovery code separately and confirm it when prompted; a completed reset can replace the code.

If the password and usable recovery material are both lost, encrypted content may be unrecoverable. Support cannot promise to decrypt it or bypass recovery. Do not create replacement encryption keys or delete records as a troubleshooting shortcut.

Optional sharing

If Sharing is enabled, an owner can grant another eligible account access to an encrypted idea. Check the intended recipient. Revoking access cannot erase content they have already read or copied; it is not a way to recall a screenshot or export.

Ask for help safely

Send the page or action involved, your browser and the error wording. Use fictional examples and redact personal content. Never send your password, recovery code, security answer or session tokens. Feedback and support messages are not protected by idea-content encryption.
